Born in Melbourne, Teagan commenced her dance training at Classique School of Dance. She was a student of The Australian Ballet School from 1998 – 2004 where she commenced as a junior associate, completing a Certificate III in 2001 and graduating with an Advanced Diploma in Dance. Teagan made her debut with Sydney Dance Company in the 2005 World Premiere season of ‘Hua Mulan’. Whilst being in the company Teagan has been asked to perform for many events, including, The Australian Dance Awards, The Helpmann Awards and also danced in the movie ‘Last Dancer’ (directed by Bruce Berresford). Teagan is also sponsored as a dancer and as the face for Energetiks Dancewear. Her other Sydney Dance Company repertoire includes, ‘Grand’, ‘The Director's Cut’, ‘Gala Suite’, ‘Berlin’, ‘Ever After Ever’, ‘Graeme and Janet’s Farewell’, ‘Underland’ (Stephen Petronio), ‘Love Instalment’ (Shaun Parker), ‘INUK2’ (Meryl Tankard), ‘360’ (Rafael Bonachela) and ‘Sid’s Waltzing Masquerade’ (Aszure Barton).
